I'm still studying Gouki's moves right now, perhaps maybe if one false move his health might drop drastically as he is known of having a bad health bar. In my notes (still learning) when vs's Ryus and Kens in the corner, the most I got out of was an ex or regular shoryuken. It is very easy to do a shoryuken, although they did nerf the wakeups a little bit that doesn't mean that that wakeup doesn't work. Fireballs gives them a breather either when they just got hit with massive damage or they are dealing with a character who is heavy on close combat. I understand the game is timed but don't tense up. I would jump, but sometimes because it gives them an easy target so they will do a shoryuken so I will move closely little by little. Fireballs from what I learned in my gameplay is for your opponent to think what you might do. I'd be very careful, in my play style I become defensive a little bit. Want to discuss Capcom in general?
